Meet Dr. Shapiro
Periodontist and Implant Dentist in Ventura
Dr. Nathan Shapiro was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1959. He graduated from USC in 1980 with a BS in Biology Sciences. Dr. Shapiro graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA in 1985 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
He completed his post-graduate training in Periodontology at Tufts University in 1987. He has been practicing since 1991. He completed Branemark training in implant surgery at UCLA in 1998 and has been placing implants since then.
Dr. Shapiro is an esteemed member of the ADA (American Dental Association), CDA (California Dental Association), AAP (American Academy of Periodontology) and ICOI (International College of Oral Implantology). He taught as a clinical instructor at USC School of Dentistry and at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
